Job Description
We are currently looking for a Calibration Engineer / Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia and support our growing calibration and inspection operations. If you enjoy working with precision instruments, solving technical challenges, and making sure everything meets the highest quality standards, this role could be a great fit for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be hands-on with a wide range of inspection and NDT equipment, making sure everything is accurate, reliable, and fully compliant with international standards. Your day-to-day work will include both in-house lab tasks and on-site assignments with clients across industries like oil & gas, construction, and manufacturing.
Here’s what your responsibilities will look like:
- Carry out calibration and functional checks on equipment such as:
Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges, Ultrasonic Flaw Detectors, Magnetic Yokes, and other NDT instruments - Perform both in-house and on-site calibration services depending on project needs
- Prepare clear and accurate calibration reports, certificates, and documentation
- Ensure all work aligns with ISO/IEC 17025 and other relevant international standards
- Troubleshoot and fix equipment issues when required
- Keep track of calibration schedules, records, and equipment history
- Handle instruments carefully and ensure proper storage and traceability
- Work closely with clients, offering technical support and guidance when needed
- Support audit processes and help maintain a smooth, compliant calibration system
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is technically strong, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field
- Around 2–5 years of experience in calibration, NDT, or quality control
- Good understanding of ISO standards (especially ISO/IEC 17025), ASTM, and ASNT
- Experience working with calibration tools and NDT equipment
- Strong attention to detail with good reporting and documentation skills
- Willingness to travel for on-site calibration jobs when required
