Full-Time Experienced Commissioning Engineer Required | SEC Approved Candidates
Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join a well-established power and infrastructure project in Saudi Arabia. If you have a strong background in electrical testing and commissioning, especially in substations and MV/LV systems, and you’re ready to step into a role immediately, this could be a great fit for you.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for making sure electrical systems are properly tested, safely commissioned, and fully ready for operation. You’ll work closely with site teams and engineers to ensure everything runs smoothly from testing to final handover.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carrying out pre-commissioning, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
- Working on MV/LV switchgear, transformers, and protection relays
- Managing commissioning activities for substations and power distribution systems
- Conducting inspections, functional testing, and troubleshooting when needed
- Reading and understanding single line diagrams (SLD) and technical drawings
- Ensuring all work meets SEC standards, project specs, and safety requirements
- Preparing clear reports, checklists, and commissioning documentation
- Coordinating with engineers, QA/QC teams, and site staff for smooth execution
- Supporting system energization and final project handover
What We’re Looking For:
- Must have valid Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) approval
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Solid experience in electrical commissioning, substations, or power projects
- Good understanding of testing procedures and protection systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Available to join immediately
