Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled IT professional with a strong background in network infrastructure, CCTV systems, video surveillance solutions, and enterprise-level troubleshooting.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and supporting our network environment, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of critical IT and surveillance systems. We are seeking someone who can work confidently in a fast-paced environment, solve technical challenges efficiently, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our infrastructure.
About the Role
As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and supporting network systems, CCTV infrastructure, and related technologies. You will work closely with technical teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while identifying opportunities to improve system performance, security, and reliability.
This position requires hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies and Milestone Video Management Systems, along with the ability to diagnose and resolve network and surveillance-related issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and support network infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability across all systems.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
- Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, and related networking equipment.
- Support CCTV systems, IP cameras, and video surveillance infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain Milestone Video Management Systems (VMS).
- Perform routine system checks, preventive maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Ensure network security measures are implemented and maintained.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and system records.
- Work with internal teams and external vendors to support ongoing projects and operational requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Administration, or IT Infrastructure Support.
- Valid Cisco Certification (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent).
- Proven experience working with Milestone Video Management Systems (VMS).
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, routing, switching, TCP/IP, and network security principles.
- Hands-on experience with CCTV systems, IP surveillance solutions, and video monitoring platforms.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Local transfer is required.
