Full-Time Experienced Quantity Surveyor Required in Qatar | Infra and MEP Projects
Job Description
We’re currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Qatar. If you’ve been working on infrastructure or MEP projects and enjoy handling project costs, contracts, and commercial aspects, this could be a great next step for you.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident with numbers, understands project lifecycles, and can keep everything financially on track from start to finish.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be closely involved in managing the financial side of projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and project budgets
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Handling quantity take-offs for civil, infrastructure, and MEP works
- Managing variations, claims, and change orders
- Monitoring project costs and ensuring everything stays within budget
- Working with subcontractors on pricing, payments, and final accounts
- Supporting contract administration (FIDIC knowledge is a plus)
- Coordinating with engineers, project managers, consultants, and clients
- Preparing regular cost reports and financial updates
- Identifying areas where costs can be optimized without affecting quality
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or similar)
- Around 5–10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying (Infra & MEP projects)
- Strong understanding of cost control, estimation, and contracts
- Experience in GCC projects is an advantage
- Comfortable working with tools like Excel, AutoCAD, or ERP systems
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Candidates who can join immediately or on short notice are preferred
