Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant who can manage financial processes with accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while supporting business growth. We’re looking for someone who can confidently handle day-to-day accounting operations, stay on top of VAT and ZATCA requirements, and deliver reliable financial reports in line with IFRS and SOCPA standards. You’ll be part of a professional team where your work directly supports business decisions and growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll take ownership of the full accounting cycle. From recording transactions to closing the books, your attention to detail will keep everything running smoothly.
You’ll:
- Manage daily accounting activities, including journal entries, general ledger updates, and monthly closing.
- Keep financial records organized, accurate, and audit-ready at all times.
- Reconcile bank accounts, suppliers, customers, and intercompany balances without delays.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure payments and collections happen on time.
- Handle payroll, vacation settlements, and End-of-Service Benefits (EOSB) in line with Saudi labour regulations.
- Manage petty cash and ensure all expenses are tracked and properly recorded.
- Prepare financial statements that meet IFRS and SOCPA requirements.
- Stay compliant with VAT regulations and ZATCA submissions, making sure everything is filed correctly and on time.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning with clear financial insights.
- Assist during audits by providing accurate data and proper documentation.
- Contribute to IKTVA reporting when required.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who combines technical expertise with a practical, hands-on approach.
You should have:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance.
- SOCPA certification (mandatory).
- At least 5 years of accounting experience within Saudi Arabia.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, VAT, ZATCA, and Saudi financial regulations.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
- Solid skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
- The ability to manage deadlines, stay organized, and communicate clearly in English.
