We are currently seeking a talented and experienced GSAS Engineer to join our team in Qatar. This is an excellent opportunity for a sustainability-focused professional who is passionate about creating environmentally responsible buildings and contributing to projects that meet the highest green building standards.
As a GSAS Engineer, you will play an important role in supporting project teams throughout the design and construction process, ensuring compliance with GSAS requirements and helping projects achieve their targeted sustainability goals. You will work closely with consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to deliver high-performance, sustainable developments.

What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will be responsible for guiding projects through the GSAS certification process while ensuring sustainability objectives are successfully integrated into every stage of development.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing GSAS certification requirements from project initiation through final certification
• Preparing, reviewing, and submitting sustainability documentation and compliance reports
• Working closely with project teams to ensure all GSAS criteria are properly implemented
• Monitoring project performance against sustainability targets and environmental requirements
• Reviewing designs, specifications, and construction activities to support sustainable outcomes
• Conducting site visits and audits to verify compliance with GSAS standards
• Coordinating with consultants, contractors, and suppliers regarding sustainability requirements
• Supporting energy efficiency, water conservation, waste reduction, and environmental management initiatives
• Providing recommendations that improve building performance and environmental sustainability
• Staying updated with the latest GSAS guidelines, sustainability regulations, and green building trends in Qatar
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a genuine interest in sustainable development and environmental responsibility.
The ideal candidate will have:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related discipline
• Experience working on GSAS-certified projects within Qatar
• Strong knowledge of GSAS requirements, sustainability principles, and environmental regulations
• Experience preparing certification submissions and sustainability documentation
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• The ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered an advantage:
• GSAS Certified Green Professional (CGP) certification
• Experience with LEED, BREEAM, WELL, or other green building rating systems
• Knowledge of energy-efficient building systems and sustainable design practices
• Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and sustainability reporting
