Job Description
We’re currently on the lookout for an experienced Heavy Driver to join our team in Qatar. If you’vespent a few years behind the wheel of heavy vehicles and know how to handle responsibility on busy project sites, this could be a great fit for you. We’re offering a stable role with long-term prospects in construction and logistics projects.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Heavy Driver, your main role will be to safely move materials, equipment, and sometimes personnel between different project locations. Day-to-day, you’ll be driving trucks, trailers, or other heavy vehicles, making sure everything reaches its destination on time and in good condition.
You’ll also be expected to carry out basic checks on your vehicle before and after trips—things like brakes, tires, oil levels, and lights. Keeping simple records like trip logs and fuel usage will be part of your routine too.
Safety is a big priority, so following Qatar’s traffic rules and site safety guidelines is essential. You’ll be working closely with site teams and logistics staff, so good coordination and communication will make your job easier.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re ideally looking for someone who already has hands-on experience in heavy vehicle driving, especially in construction or industrial environments.
- Valid Qatar Heavy Driving License (or transferable)
- Around 3–5 years of driving experience in a similar role
- Experience in construction, logistics, or industrial projects is a plus
- Good understanding of road safety and defensive driving
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Physically fit and able to handle long working hours when needed
- Reliable, responsible, and able to follow instructions
