What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, your day won’t look the same every time — but your focus will always be on safety, compliance, and efficiency:
- Putting HSSE policies into action and making sure they are followed across all operations
- Identifying risks early through site inspections, risk assessments, and safety checks
- Handling incident investigations, understanding what went wrong, and making sure it doesn’t happen again
- Ensuring everything is aligned with KSA safety regulations and labor laws
- Keeping a close eye on environmental practices, including waste handling, spill control, and emissions
- Managing the upkeep of warehouses, yards, offices, and utilities like power, lighting, and HVAC systems
- Coordinating with contractors and vendors, making sure their work meets safety and quality expectations
- Keeping all permits, reports, and safety records organized and up to date
- Supporting emergency planning, fire safety systems, and evacuation procedures
- Delivering toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions to keep everyone informed and alert
What We’re Looking For
You don’t just know safety — you live it in how you work:
- Solid understanding of HSSE practices, risk management, and compliance standards in KSA
- Experience managing facilities, maintenance activities, and operational safety
- Confidence in handling contractors, vendors, and coordination with procurement teams
- Familiar with permit-to-work systems and high-risk activity controls
- A practical problem-solver who stays calm and focused under pressure
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with people across different teams
What You Bring With You
- A degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering
- NEBOSH certification (or equivalent) is highly preferred
- Around 3 to 5 years of real-world experience in HSSE, HSE, or Safety roles
- Good knowledge of local safety laws, environmental standards, and compliance requirements in KSA
- Experience working in warehouses, logistics, construction, or industrial environments is a big plus
- Comfortable using MS Office and reporting tools
