We’re currently searching for an experienced Chief Accountant to join our Rental Equipment and Contracting Company in Saudi Arabia.

About the Role
As Chief Accountant, you’ll be responsible for managing the company’s entire finance function. From daily accounting activities to final accounts and financial planning, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly.
You’ll work closely with management, provide clear financial insights, and guide the accounts team. Your work will directly support budgeting, cash flow management, audits, payroll, and compliance with Saudi regulations, including VAT and Zakat.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys both managing numbers and guiding people.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reports
- Overseeing cash flow, banking transactions, and fund planning
- Coordinating internal and external audits
- Supervising payroll processing and staff payments
- Ensuring compliance with VAT, Zakat, and Saudi accounting regulations
- Maintaining accurate financial records and strong internal controls
- Reviewing contracts, invoices, and financial documents
- Working with ERP systems and preparing reports using MS Excel
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting the accounts team
- Providing financial advice to management to support business decisions
- Helping improve cost control and overall profitability
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Accounts & Finance
- At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in the Saudi market (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of VAT, Zakat, and local accounting standards
- Experience in Rental Equipment, Construction, or Contracting is preferred
- Comfortable handling full-cycle accounting operations
- Good working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel
- Strong leadership, organization, and team management skills
- Clear communication and reporting abilities
