Full-Time Hiring Safety Officer KSA | NEBOSH | SEC Approved Role
Job Description
We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. If you have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices, and you understand how to maintain safe, compliant worksites—especially under Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards—this role could be a great fit for you.
In this position, you’ll be at the heart of site safety, making sure every task is carried out responsibly and every worker goes home safe. You’ll work closely with site teams, guide workers on best safety practices, and ensure everything on-site aligns with required safety regulations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Making sure all work follows SEC safety rules and regulations
- Keeping a close eye on daily site activities to spot and prevent risks before they become problems
- Carrying out regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Putting health and safety procedures into action and ensuring everyone follows them
- Conducting toolbox talks and safety training sessions for workers and staff
- Looking into incidents or near-misses and preparing clear, detailed reports
- Keeping all safety records and documents organized and up to date
- Working closely with project managers and supervisors to maintain a safe work environment
- Ensuring proper use of PPE and safety equipment at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid SEC Safety Officer approval (this is required)
- A Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience working as a Safety Officer in Saudi Arabia
- Good understanding of site safety, risk assessment, and incident handling
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification will be an advantage
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Someone who can take responsibility and manage safety on-site independently
