Full-Time HVAC CAD Engineer Job | SolidWorks and AutoCAD Expert Required
Job Description
We’re currently looking for a talented and experienced HVAC Designer to become part of our growing team. If you enjoy working on practical designs, creating detailed drawings, and bringing HVAC systems to life, this role offers a great chance to do meaningful work in a professional environment.
This position is best suited for someone with solid hands-on experience in HVAC design, CAD drafting, and mechanical systems, who can confidently handle projects from concept to final drawings.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing clear and accurate HVAC drawings, shop drawings, and layouts
- Designing complete HVAC systems including ducting, ventilation, and AHU systems
- Working with AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create both 2D and 3D designs
- Supporting the team with heat load calculations and system sizing
- Making sure all designs follow industry standards and project requirements
- Coordinating closely with engineers, project teams, and site staff
- Updating drawings based on site changes and project progress
- Keeping all technical drawings and documentation well organized
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Good understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical design
- Ability to create detailed and accurate technical drawings
- Familiarity with systems like AHU, FCU, ducting, and chilled water systems
- Knowledge of industry standards like ASHRAE or similar guidelines
- A careful, detail-focused approach to design work
- Someone who can work well with a team and communicate clearly
Extra Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with energy-efficient or sustainable HVAC designs
- Basic knowledge of Revit MEP or BIM tools
- Experience in commercial or large-scale HVAC projects
