Job Description
We’re on the lookout for a practical, hands-on IT & ELV Engineer who knows their way around CCTV systems, networking, and low current solutions. If you enjoy solving technical challenges, working on-site, and seeing projects come together from start to finish, this could be a great fit.
In this role, you’ll be involved in everything from installation and configuration to testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT and ELV systems. You’ll work closely with project teams and clients, making sure systems run smoothly and meet the required standards.
What you’ll be doing:
- Setting up and maintaining CCTV systems, IP cameras, and surveillance solutions
- Working with ELV systems like access control, intercom, gate barriers, and structured cabling
- Handling network setup and troubleshooting (routers, switches, Wi-Fi, firewalls)
- Carrying out cabling work including Cat6 and fiber, along with testing and labeling
- Supporting system integration between security and IT systems
- Visiting sites for inspections, system checks, and project coordination
- Troubleshooting issues and ensuring systems stay reliable and efficient
- Making sure all work is completed safely and up to standard
What we’re looking for:
- Background in IT, Electronics, or a related field
- Around 3–7 years of experience in IT, ELV, CCTV, or networking roles
- Good understanding of IP networking, security systems, and structured cabling
- Ability to read drawings and handle real-world site work confidently
- Someone who can work independently but also collaborate well with a team
- Certifications like CCNA or ELV-related training are a plus
