Full-Time Job Opening: Estimation Engineer Mechanical Piping | Khobar, KSA
Job Description
We’re currently looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer (Mechanical – Piping) to join our team in Khobar. If you’ve spent several years working on piping and mechanical estimation—especially in oil & gas or construction—this could be a great next step in your career.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of project planning, helping the team understand costs, prepare competitive bids, and ensure everything is financially on track from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing accurate cost estimates for mechanical and piping projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documents carefully
- Handling quantity take-offs and pricing for materials, labor, and equipment
- Supporting tender submissions and proposal preparation
- Working closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams
- Evaluating risks and suggesting cost-effective solutions
- Keeping records of vendor quotes, pricing, and project cost data
- Making sure all estimates align with project requirements and industry standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Around 7–10 years of hands-on experience in estimation (Mechanical/Piping)
- Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, and installation methods
- Experience in oil & gas, EPC, or construction projects is highly valued
- Comfortable working with drawings, BOQs, and estimation tools (Excel, AutoCAD is a plus)
- Good communication skills and a practical, problem-solving mindset
Nice to Have:
- Experience with tools like SAP or Primavera
- Familiarity with international standards like ASME or API
- Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
