Full-Time Long-Term Safety Officer Job in Saudi Arabia | SEC Approved Role
Job Description
We’re currently looking for an experienced Safety Officer (SEC Approved) to join our team for long-term substation and electrical projects in Saudi Arabia. If you take safety seriously and have hands-on experience working in high-risk environments, this role offers a solid and stable career opportunity.
About the Role:
In this position, you’ll be responsible for making sure all work on-site is carried out safely and in line with required standards. You’ll work closely with engineers, supervisors, and workers to create a safe working environment and ensure that every task is completed without risk.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Keeping a close eye on all site activities to ensure safety rules are followed
- Making sure work complies with SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) safety standards
- Carrying out regular site inspections and identifying potential risks
- Taking immediate action to correct unsafe conditions or behaviours
- Conducting toolbox talks and safety briefings for workers
- Ensuring proper use of PPE at all times
- Monitoring high-risk work such as electrical tasks, lifting operations, and confined space work
- Maintaining safety records, reports, and documentation
- Investigating any incidents and helping prevent future occurrences
- Supporting emergency procedures and safety drills
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid SEC Approved Safety Officer certification (must have)
- 3–5 years of experience in substation or electrical projects
- Good understanding of safety practices, risk assessment, and site compliance
- Additional certifications like NEBOSH or IOSH are a plus
- GCC or Saudi project experience is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to guide teams on-site
- Someone who is proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented
