Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Micro Tunnelling Manager to join our team for major infrastructure and underground utility projects in Saudi Arabia.
If you have a strong background in micro tunnelling, pipe jacking, and underground utility construction, and enjoy leading projects from planning to completion, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
About the Role
As a Micro Tunnelling Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the complete delivery of micro tunnelling and pipe jacking projects. From project planning and mobilization to execution and handover, you’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
You’ll work closely with project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors while leading day-to-day operations on-site and providing technical guidance whenever required.
What You’ll Be Doing
Project Management
- Managing the overall execution of micro tunnelling and pipe jacking projects
- Planning project schedules and monitoring progress against timelines
- Coordinating manpower, equipment, and project resources
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Monitoring project performance and preparing progress reports
Site Operations
- Supervising the operation of AVN and Slurry Micro tunnelling Machines
- Overseeing underground utility installation and pipeline construction activities
- Managing site activities and ensuring smooth daily operations
- Identifying and resolving technical issues that arise during construction
- Monitoring productivity and maintaining construction quality standards
Team Leadership
- Leading and supporting engineers, foremen, operators, and construction teams
- Allocating work responsibilities and managing daily activities
- Providing guidance and technical support to site personnel
- Building a positive and productive working environment
Quality & Safety
- Ensuring all work complies with project specifications, client requirements, and safety standards
- Promoting a strong safety culture across the project
- Conducting regular site reviews and risk assessments
- Ensuring all quality inspections and project documentation are properly maintained
Experience Required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Micro tunnelling and Pipe Jacking projects
- Proven experience operating or supervising AVN and Slurry Micro tunnelling Machines
- Previous experience on Saudi Aramco projects is preferred
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure and underground utility projects will be an advantage
