Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Data Privacy & Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineer to join a major enterprise cybersecurity project in the Middle East. If you’ve been working in data security, privacy compliance, or DLP technologies and want to step into a more impactful role, this could be the right move for you.
You’ll be part of a team focused on protecting sensitive business data, strengthening compliance frameworks, and improving how organizations manage risk across modern cloud and enterprise environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Setting up and managing DLP policies across email, endpoints, cloud platforms, and internal systems
- Working hands-on with Microsoft Purview (DLP, Information Protection, Insider Risk)
- Monitoring alerts, investigating issues, and handling security incidents
- Creating and improving data classification and sensitivity labeling
- Supporting privacy processes like RoPA and DPIA, along with compliance reporting
- Collaborating with teams like SOC, GRC, IAM, and IT to keep everything aligned
- Fine-tuning DLP systems to reduce false alerts and improve accuracy
- Assisting with audits and making sure systems meet regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Around 5+ years of experience in data security, DLP, or compliance roles
- Strong experience with Microsoft Purview and enterprise DLP tools
- Good understanding of data privacy laws such as GDPR and regional regulations
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoint protection, and email security
- Experience working with SIEM or SOC tools like Microsoft Sentinel
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle incidents confidently
