We’re on the lookout for a passionate and experienced QS Engineer (Quantity Surveyor) who knows how to keep projects on track—both technically and financially. If you enjoy working on roads, bridges, and large-scale construction projects, and you have a strong grip on cost control and project coordination, this role could be a great fit for you.
About the Role
In this position, you’ll be involved in every stage of the project—from early cost planning to final billing. Your role will be key in making sure everything runs smoothly, stays within budget, and meets quality standards. You’ll be working closely with engineers, contractors, and clients, so clear communication and teamwork are essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents
- Tracking project costs and making sure spending stays within budget
- Handling variations, claims, and contract-related matters
- Supporting site teams and ensuring work is carried out as planned
- Maintaining strong quality control (QA/QC) throughout the project
- Coordinating with project managers, consultants, and suppliers
- Monitoring timelines, resources, and procurement activities
- Preparing regular progress and cost reports
- Ensuring all work follows safety and environmental standards
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Solid experience as a QS Engineer or Quantity Surveyor in construction projects
- Good knowledge of costing, contracts, and project management
- Experience in roads and bridge projects will be a strong advantage
- Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Excel, or ERP systems
- At least 5 years of experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC projects preferred
- Professional certifications (like RICS or PMP) are a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Candidates from Indian or Philippine backgrounds are preferred
- Must be fluent in Arabic and English
