Job Description
We’re currently on the lookout for an experienced Scaffolding Supervisor to join our team in Qatar. If you’ve worked on construction or oil & gas projects and know how to manage scaffolding operations safely and efficiently, this could be a great next step in your career.
About the Role:
In this position, you’ll be leading scaffolding activities on-site—from planning and setup to dismantling—while making sure everything is done safely and in line with project requirements. You’ll be working closely with engineers, safety teams, and workers on-site to keep things running smoothly and on schedule.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Overseeing all scaffolding work, including erection, modification, and dismantling
- Making sure all structures are safe, secure, and ready for use
- Carrying out routine inspections and addressing any safety concerns immediately
- Working hand-in-hand with site engineers, project managers, and HSE teams
- Planning materials, manpower, and timelines for scaffolding work
- Keeping records of permits, inspections, and safety checks
- Guiding and supporting your team to maintain high standards on-site
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor in construction or oil & gas projects
- A valid CISRS certification (or similar qualification) is preferred
- Good understanding of safety practices and work permit systems (PTW)
- Confidence in leading a team and handling site responsibilities
- Ability to read basic drawings and understand project requirements
- Previous Gulf experience is a plus
- Candidates who can join quickly will have an advantage
