Full-Time Senior Instructor Required | Oil and Gas Technical Training Expert
Job Description
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior Instructor who can bring both knowledge and real-world industry insight into the classroom. If you enjoy guiding others, simplifying complex technical concepts, and creating an engaging learning environment, this role could be a great fit.
In this position, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training in the oil & gas sector, combining theory with practical, hands-on sessions. Your role will directly contribute to shaping skilled professionals who are ready to meet industry demands.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Plan and deliver structured technical training sessions in both classroom and workshop settings
- Create lesson plans, training schedules, and easy-to-understand course materials
- Make learning interactive by using practical examples, demonstrations, and real industry scenarios
- Adjust your teaching approach to suit different learning styles and experience levels
- Ensure all training meets industry standards and certification requirements
- Manage training tools, equipment, and materials to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Assess trainees regularly and provide clear, constructive feedback to help them improve
- Keep training records accurate and up to date
- Continuously improve course content based on industry updates and feedback
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional training environment
- Support internal audits, quality checks, and training improvements
- Guide and mentor junior trainers when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering field
- At least 3 years of experience in a training or instructor role
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the oil & gas industry
- Strong communication skills in English (both spoken and written)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with competency-based training (NVQ or similar)
- Certifications like A1, V1, D32, or D33
- Experience working in the Middle East
- Familiarity with digital training tools or learning management systems
