We’re currently looking for an experienced Technical Training Manager to join our team and take the lead in delivering high-quality technical training within the oil & gas sector. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys sharing knowledge, building strong teams, and creating a practical, engaging learning environment.
About the Role
In this position, you’ll be responsible for planning and delivering both classroom and hands-on training in a way that’s clear, practical, and easy for trainees to apply on the job. You’ll also oversee the overall training setup — from course content to equipment — making sure everything runs smoothly and meets industry standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning and delivering structured technical training sessions (theory and practical)
- Creating lesson plans, training schedules, and easy-to-follow course materials
- Leading classroom sessions as well as hands-on workshop training
- Adjusting your teaching style to match different learning needs
- Making sure all training meets industry standards and certification requirements
- Managing training tools, equipment, and materials to ensure everything is ready to use
- Monitoring trainee progress and providing constructive feedback
- Keeping training records accurate and up to date
- Continuously improving course content to keep it relevant and effective
- Supporting and guiding trainees to help them build confidence and skills
- Ensuring a safe and well-organized training environment at all times
- Staying updated with the latest trends and practices in the oil & gas industry
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field)
- At least 3 years of experience in technical training or instruction
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the oil & gas industry
- Strong communication skills in English
- A practical, approachable, and professional attitude
Nice to Have:
- Experience with competency-based training (NVQ or similar)
- Certifications like A1, V1, D32, or D33
- Previous experience working in the Middle East
