We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Welding Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong experience in welding engineering, fabrication, industrial construction, Oil & Gas projects, QA/QC coordination, and Saudi Aramco standards.

As a Welding Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and supervising welding activities, ensuring compliance with international standards, supporting fabrication teams, and maintaining high-quality workmanship throughout project execution.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop, review, and approve:
- Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
- Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)
- Ensure all welding activities comply with:
- ASME Section IX
- AWS D1.1
- API standards
- Project specifications and quality requirements
- Provide technical support and guidance to fabrication and construction teams
- Supervise welding activities and ensure approved welding procedures are followed correctly
- Conduct and evaluate Welder Performance Qualification Tests (WPQT)
- Analyze welding defects and recommend practical corrective actions
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams, NDT inspectors, and project teams to maintain quality standards
- Review welding consumables, materials, and welding parameters for project suitability
- Estimate welding consumable requirements and support procurement planning
- Support preheating, PWHT, and heat input control activities
- Participate in project meetings, inspections, audits, and client coordination activities, including Saudi Aramco representatives
- Prepare welding reports, technical summaries, and project documentation
- Take ownership of all welding activities within the fabrication yard and project areas
- Monitor welding productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Certified Welding Engineer (CWE) or equivalent certification is an advantage
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in welding engineering within:
- Oil & Gas projects
- Industrial fabrication
- Construction environments
- Strong knowledge of welding processes including:
- SMAW
- GTAW
- FCAW
- SAW
- GMAW
- Good understanding of:
- ASME codes
- AWS standards
- API standards
- Welding quality control and inspection procedures
- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and industrial project requirements
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and project deadlines efficiently
- Experience working with fabrication yards and industrial construction projects
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an added advantage:
- Pipeline projects
- Structural steel fabrication
- Pressure vessels and process piping
- Industrial plant construction
- Welding inspections and NDT coordination
- Saudi Aramco projects and client inspections
