We are currently looking for a skilled and dependable Diesel Engine Mechanic to join our team. If you are passionate about solving mechanical problems, keeping equipment running efficiently, and working in a professional environment, we would love to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that diesel-powered equipment and hydraulic systems remain in excellent working condition. Your daily duties will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems, including pumps, cylinders, valves, and hoses.
- Performing routine maintenance, servicing, and overhauling of diesel engines.
- Troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Conducting preventive maintenance inspections to reduce equipment downtime.
- Replacing worn or damaged components and testing equipment after repairs.
- Maintaining service records and reporting maintenance activities accurately.
- Following safety procedures and ensuring all work is completed to high-quality standards.
- Working independently as well as collaborating with colleagues to keep operations running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Proven experience in hydraulic system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
Strong knowledge of diesel engine servicing, maintenance, and overhauling
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
Experience working with heavy equipment or industrial machinery will be an advantage
A valid driving licence (Mandatory)
Age below 42 years
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
