Key Responsibilities
As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all health, safety, and environmental regulations are followed on-site.
- Conducting regular safety inspections and identifying potential hazards.
- Implementing and monitoring HSE policies and procedures.
- Organising safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees.
- Investigating incidents and recommending preventive measures.
- Ensuring employees use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
- Maintaining safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Promoting a strong safety culture and encouraging safe working practices across the project site.
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who have:
- At least 3 years of experience in construction, industrial, or contracting projects.
- Good understanding of occupational health and safety standards.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving safety concerns.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
