Job Description
We are searching for a Civil Estimation Engineer with strong experience in civil estimation, quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, tendering, and project cost analysis. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing accurate estimates, reviewing project drawings and specifications, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and supporting the tendering process efficiently.
This role is suitable for candidates who have worked on commercial buildings, infrastructure works, industrial projects, or large-scale construction projects and are confident in handling estimation and cost planning activities independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and detailed cost estimates for civil and construction projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents carefully
• Prepare material cost analysis and project budget calculations
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and pricing
• Support tender preparation, bid submissions, and estimation documentation
• Monitor market rates, material pricing, and construction costs
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and commercial teams
• Ensure all estimates are prepared accurately and submitted within deadlines
• Maintain proper records of estimation documents and tender files
• Support project planning and commercial evaluation activities when required
Requirements:
• 5–7 years of experience in civil estimation and tendering
• Strong experience in quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, and construction cost estimation
• Good understanding of construction materials, labour costing, and tendering procedures
• Experience in commercial buildings, infrastructure, or industrial projects preferred
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple tenders and work under deadlines
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
• UPDA Grade “C” certification preferred
• GCC/Qatar experience will be an added advantage
• Candidates with transferable visa/NOC and immediate joining availability are preferred
