Job Description
We are searching for a Procurement Manager . The ideal candidate should have previous experience in construction, MEP, engineering, or facilities management companies and should be capable of handling procurement activities efficiently and independently.
This role is ideal for candidates who can manage supplier relationships, coordinate with project teams, ensure timely material delivery, and support smooth day-to-day procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle procurement activities for construction, MEP, engineering, and facilities management projects
• Source suppliers and obtain quotations for materials, equipment, and services
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with vendors and suppliers
• Coordinate with project teams regarding material requirements and procurement schedules
• Ensure timely purchasing and delivery of materials to project sites
• Monitor purchase orders, supplier performance, and delivery status
• Maintain procurement records, supplier details, and purchase documentation
• Coordinate with finance, warehouse, and operations teams for smooth procurement processes
• Monitor market prices and support cost-effective purchasing decisions
• Ensure procurement activities follow company procedures and project requirements
Requirements:
• Minimum 15 years of experience in procurement and supply chain operations
• Strong experience in construction, MEP, engineering, or facilities management sector preferred
• Good knowledge of procurement procedures, supplier management, and material sourcing
• Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet deadlines
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• GCC/Qatar experience will be an added advantage
• Candidates with transferable visa/NOC and immediate joining availability are preferred
