Job Description
We’re looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer who knows generator systems inside out and is ready to take on a leadership role in Saudi Arabia. If you’ve worked with diesel or gas generators and enjoy leading a team while solving real-world technical challenges, this could be a great fit for you.
This role goes beyond routine maintenance — you’ll be responsible for keeping critical power systems running smoothly, guiding a small team of technicians, and making sure everything meets high safety and performance standards.
About the Role
You’ll be leading a team of four technicians, making sure generator systems are well-maintained, efficient, and ready to perform when needed. From planning maintenance schedules to handling unexpected breakdowns, your day-to-day work will directly impact operations on the ground.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and support a team of electrical and mechanical technicians in daily generator operations
- Plan and carry out preventive maintenance for diesel and gas generators
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and ensure timely repairs
- Oversee installations, testing, and commissioning of generator systems
- Keep an eye on performance, load balance, and fuel efficiency
- Ensure ATS panels and synchronization systems are working correctly
- Respond quickly to power failures and coordinate emergency actions
- Maintain clear service records and share regular technical updates
- Follow all safety guidelines and ensure your team does the same
- Help train and guide technicians to improve their skills over time
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience with generator systems
- A Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Good understanding of how power systems and generators work
- Some experience leading or supervising a team is a big plus
- Familiarity with brands like Caterpillar, Cummins, Perkins, or FG Wilson is helpful
- Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documents
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Good communication and organizational skills
