We are currently searching for an experienced and results-driven Project Sales Engineer (Electrical) to join their team in Dammam. Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is confident, technically strong, and comfortable dealing with clients and project teams.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in transmission lines, substations, or related electrical projects
- Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC will be an added advantage
- Comfortable using Oracle ERP, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint in daily work
- Familiar with AutoCAD for reviewing drawings when needed
- Basic understanding or hands-on use of AI tools for preparing proposals or summarizing documents is a plus
- Good knowledge of SEC/National Grid standards, IEEE, IEC, Cigre, and ZATCA e-invoicing requirements
- Strong skills in tendering, estimation, and negotiation
- A valid driving license is required for client visits
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be involved in both technical and commercial aspects of projects:
- Handling enquiries and managing the full RFQ process, from reviewing requirements to final submission
- Preparing BOQ/BOM, cost estimates, and pricing using Excel
- Reviewing project drawings and specifications, sometimes using AutoCAD
- Creating technical and commercial proposals that meet client expectations
- Coordinating internally to get approvals and ensure accurate submissions
- Negotiating pricing, payment terms, and contract conditions with clients
- Managing financial aspects like bank guarantees, LCs, and invoicing through Oracle ERP
- Working closely with project teams to ensure smooth execution after order confirmation
- Keeping track of payments and receivables to avoid delays
- Monitoring market trends and competitors to improve success rates
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Representing the company at meetings, exhibitions, and industry events
Additional Preference
Candidates who are already in Saudi Arabia and available for local transfer (transferable Iqama) will be given priority.
