Full-Time Planning Engineer Job Opening | Solar Projects Experience Mandatory
Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Planning Engineer with a strong background in solar projects to join our team. If you’ve worked on solar EPC or renewable energy projects and enjoy managing timelines, tracking progress, and keeping projects on schedule, this could be a great next step for you.
This role is best suited for someone who is confident with planning tools, understands site coordination, and can keep projects moving smoothly from start to finish.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating and updating project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Preparing and maintaining baseline schedules with accuracy
- Tracking daily and weekly progress, identifying delays, and finding practical solutions
- Performing Critical Path Analysis (CPA) to understand key risks
- Preparing clear and structured weekly and monthly progress reports
- Working closely with engineering, procurement, and site teams
- Monitoring manpower usage and overall productivity on-site
- Keeping track of project milestones and ensuring deadlines are met
- Developing recovery plans when timelines are at risk
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Electrical preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience in solar projects (essential)
- Strong understanding of planning and scheduling concepts
- Hands-on experience with baseline schedule preparation
- Good working knowledge of Primavera P6
- Ability to communicate clearly and coordinate with different teams
Added Advantage
- Experience working on solar EPC or renewable energy projects
- Familiarity with reporting tools and project tracking methods
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
