Full-Time Structural Engineer Vacancy | Shop Drawings and Detailing Expert Needed
Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our team and take an active role in delivering high-quality construction and engineering projects. If you have a solid background in detailing, shop drawings, and coordination, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this could be a great fit for you.
In this role, you’ll be involved in designing and reviewing structural systems for a variety of projects, while working closely with architects, consultants, and site teams to ensure everything runs smoothly from concept to completion.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll be responsible for preparing structural designs, calculations, and detailed drawings, including shop drawings and reinforcement detailing. A big part of your role will involve coordinating with different teams such as architecture, MEP, and BIM to make sure all elements of the project align properly. You’ll also review drawings, ensure compliance with standards, and support the team in solving any technical challenges that come up during execution. Occasional site visits may be required to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking someone with at least 7 years of hands-on experience in structural design engineering. You should be confident in handling detailing, shop drawings, and coordination work. A strong understanding of international design standards and proficiency in tools like ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, AutoCAD, or BIM software will be important.
Beyond technical skills, we value someone who is organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple responsibilities. Good communication and teamwork skills are essential, as you’ll be working closely with different stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
