Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who knows the ins and outs of construction projects and takes pride in getting the numbers right. If you have a solid background in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, shop drawings, and project coordination, this could be a great fit for you.
In this role, you’ll be closely involved in managing project costs from start to finish. You’ll prepare accurate estimates, review drawings, handle variations, and work alongside engineers, consultants, and site teams to keep everything running smoothly and within budget.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents
- Managing project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting
- Taking off quantities and ensuring accuracy in material costing
- Reviewing and coordinating shop drawings and technical details
- Handling variations, claims, and final accounts
- Supporting procurement and working with subcontractors and suppliers
- Making sure all work aligns with contract requirements and project standards
- Keeping clear communication with the full project team
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Strong knowledge of construction costing, contracts, and tendering
- Experience in detailing, shop drawings, and coordination
- Comfortable working with Excel and standard QS tools
- Good communication skills and a practical, problem-solving mindset
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
Bonus If You Have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or similar field
- Experience working on UAE/GCC or international projects
- Familiarity with FIDIC or similar contract standards
