Full-Time Experienced Joinery Production Manager Wanted | Bahrain Opportunities
Job Description
We’re currently on the lookout for an experienced Production / Workshop Manager to take charge of our joinery workshop and production operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on, leading teams, and making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
You’ll be working in a fast-moving joinery and interior fit-out environment, where attention to detail, strong coordination, and practical knowledge of woodworking and production processes really matter.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Managing Daily Operations
- Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the workshop and ensuring production runs as planned
- Organising schedules and keeping track of progress to meet deadlines without compromising quality
Handling Technical & Production Work
- Working with drawings, specifications, and plans to guide production accurately
- Making sure materials, finishes, and machinery are used effectively
- Preparing BOQs, cutting lists, and checking measurements when required
Coordinating with Teams
- Staying in close contact with project managers, designers, and procurement teams
- Making sure communication between the workshop and site teams is clear and efficient
- Visiting project sites when needed to take measurements or sort out technical details
Managing Materials & Suppliers
- Coordinating with suppliers to ensure materials arrive on time
- Keeping an eye on stock levels and reducing unnecessary waste
Leading the Team
- Supervising carpenters, machine operators, factory workers, and installation teams
- Guiding the team to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards
Ensuring Quality & Safety
- Checking finished work to ensure it meets the required standards
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment in the workshop
Using Software & Tools
- Working with tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, or other planning software
- Tracking progress and preparing simple reports when needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience in joinery production, woodworking, or interior fit-out projects
- Someone confident in managing a workshop and leading a team
- Good understanding of drawings, materials, and production processes
- Ability to plan ahead, solve problems, and keep things running on schedule
- Comfortable using basic software tools for planning and coordination
