Full-Time Experienced Workshop Supervisor Required – ASME and Welding Expertise
Job Description
We’re currently on the lookout for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to manage fabrication and welding activities for ongoing industrial projects in Saudi Arabia. This role is perfect for someone who knows how to handle workshop operations, guide teams, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing day-to-day fabrication and welding work in the workshop
- Making sure production targets and deadlines are met without compromising quality
- Reading and working with engineering drawings, WPS, and PQR documents
- Supervising fabrication of pressure vessels, stacks, and heavy structures
- Planning and assigning manpower based on project needs and skill requirements
- Managing workforce movement (mobilization and demobilization) as projects progress
- Ensuring all work follows ASME, AWS, and API standards
- Coordinating with QA/QC teams for inspections, including fit-up and NDT
- Guiding welders and fabrication teams to maintain high-quality workmanship
- Keeping track of daily progress, welding logs, and production reports
- Reporting updates, delays, or technical challenges to management
- Working closely with engineering and project teams to keep everything running smoothly
- Making sure safety practices are followed at all times in the workshop
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in fabrication and welding supervision
- Strong hands-on knowledge of pressure vessel fabrication and welding processes
- Good understanding of ASME Section VIII, AWS, and API standards
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams effectively
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Profile
- Certification such as CSWIP or AWS-CWI
- Experience in oil & gas or heavy fabrication industries
