Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Furniture Assembly Technician (Finishing Carpenter) to join our Facilities Management (FM) team.
This is a great opportunity for professionals who take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and have hands-on experience in assembling, installing, and repairing furniture and wooden fixtures.
Your Responsibilities:
• Assemble and install office furniture, modular furniture, cabinets, wardrobes, shelves, workstations, and other wooden fixtures.
• Carry out finishing carpentry work, including cutting, fitting, polishing, trimming, and adjustments.
• Repair damaged furniture and perform maintenance work on existing wooden fixtures.
• Install wooden doors, partitions, panels, and interior fit-out components.
• Read and understand measurements, layouts, and installation drawings accurately.
• Use carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure every installation is completed to a high standard of quality and finish.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete projects on time.
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience as a Furniture Assembly Technician, Finishing Carpenter, Furniture Installer, Joinery Carpenter, or Interior Carpenter.
• Good knowledge of furniture assembly, woodworking, and carpentry techniques.
• Experience with modular furniture, wardrobes, cabinets, and custom-made wooden fixtures is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and solve practical installation challenges.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Experience in the Facilities Management (FM), Construction, or Interior Fit-Out industry will be an advantage.
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are preferred.
