Job Description
We’re hiring a reliable and experienced General Accountant to join our newly established catering company in Jeddah. If you have solid accounting experience in Saudi Arabia and are looking for a stable role where you can grow with the business, this could be a great fit.
We’re specifically looking for Indian or Pakistani candidates who can speak Arabic and are already based in Jeddah, as the interview will be conducted in person. Candidates who can join immediately will have an added advantage.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be handling the day-to-day accounting work and making sure everything runs smoothly from a financial perspective. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily accounting entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
- Preparing financial reports like profit & loss statements and balance sheets
- Handling invoices, payments, and follow-ups (both payable and receivable)
- Keeping track of company expenses and monitoring cash flow
- Making sure everything is in line with VAT and financial regulations in Saudi Arabia
- Supporting audits and maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting management with financial reports and insights for better decision-making
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is practical, detail-oriented, and confident in handling accounting independently. To be considered, you should have:
- At least 5 years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia
- Experience in catering, F&B, or hospitality (preferred, but not mandatory)
- Good understanding of VAT, financial reporting, and accounting standards in KSA
- Strong skills in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate clearly in Arabic (this is important)
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must be currently living in Jeddah and available for a direct interview
Additional Advantage
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certifications like CPA, CMA, or ACCA
- Experience working in a start-up or growing company
