About the Role
As our Landscape Engineer, you’ll take the lead on day-to-day site operations, making sure landscape works are carried out smoothly, safely, and according to approved drawings. You’ll be involved in everything from irrigation installation and planting to paving and outdoor finishing.
You’ll work closely with project managers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors while helping with material planning, quantity take-offs, and site reporting. This position suits someone organized, proactive, and comfortable guiding teams on active project sites.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing daily on-site landscape activities
- Overseeing softscape works such as planting, turfing, soil preparation, and tree installation
- Supervising hardscape works including paving, interlock, kerbstone, walkways, and outdoor features
- Coordinating irrigation system installation (pipes, sprinklers, valves, and controllers)
- Making sure all works follow approved drawings and project schedules
- Monitoring site progress and preparing simple daily reports
- Preparing quantity take-offs and material requests
- Coordinating with suppliers for landscape and irrigation materials
- Communicating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for inspections and approvals
- Ensuring safety procedures and quality standards are always followed
- Supporting snag list completion and final handover documents
- Keeping site records organized and up to date
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Engineering, Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in landscape or outdoor construction projects
- Good knowledge of irrigation systems, planting methods, and landscape materials
- Comfortable reading and understanding technical drawings
- Able to prepare basic quantity take-offs and material estimates
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Valid driving license
