We are looking for a practical and detail-focused Cost / Estimation Engineer to join their team. What This Role Involves
In this position, you’ll be responsible for understanding project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and making sure projects stay within budget. Your work will directly support project planning and help the team make better financial decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Review drawings and project details to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Create BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and support tender submissions
- Plan and manage project budgets from start to finish
- Track expenses and make sure costs stay within the approved budget
- Prepare regular cost reports and simple forecasts
- Identify cost risks early and suggest practical solutions
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams
- Compare supplier quotations and support purchasing decisions
- Keep all cost-related records clear and organized
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field)
- Around 2 to 5 years of experience in cost estimation or similar roles
- Good understanding of budgeting, BOQ preparation, and cost tracking
- Experience working on construction or engineering projects
- Comfortable using MS Excel and basic estimation tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Good communication skills and teamwork mindset
