Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior P&M Inspector to join their team. If you have a strong background in plant and machinery inspection and have worked on major oil & gas or construction projects, this could be the right step forward in your career.
About the Role
As a Senior P&M Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all plant and machinery on-site are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently. Your role will be key in maintaining high safety standards and supporting smooth project execution across all phases.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out regular inspections of plant and machinery such as cranes, generators, compressors, and heavy equipment
- Making sure all equipment meets project requirements and safety standards
- Checking machinery before it is deployed on-site and conducting periodic inspections
- Monitoring maintenance activities to ensure everything runs without interruption
- Identifying any faults, risks, or compliance issues and taking necessary action
- Preparing clear inspection reports and maintaining proper documentation
- Working closely with engineering, QA/QC, and site teams for approvals and coordination
- Supporting audits, safety checks, and third-party inspections when required
- Ensuring all certifications, records, and calibrations are up to date
What We’re Looking For
- At least 10 years of experience in oil & gas or construction projects
- Solid hands-on experience in plant and machinery inspection
- Good understanding of safety standards and industry regulations
- Familiarity with international codes like ISO, API, or similar standards
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a practical, proactive approach
Added Advantage
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or lifting equipment inspection
- Previous experience on large-scale oil & gas or EPC projects
