Full-Time Welding Engineer Job Opening in KSA | Oil and Gas and Construction
Job Description
We’re currently looking for an experienced Welding Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. If you have a solid background in oil & gas or EPC projects, along with strong knowledge of welding processes, QA/QC, and international standards, this is a great opportunity to grow your career on large-scale projects.
In this role, you’ll be involved in planning and overseeing all welding activities, making sure everything is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with ASME, AWS, and API standards. You’ll work closely with project teams, inspectors, and QA/QC professionals to maintain high-quality outcomes across the site.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing and reviewing WPS, PQR, and welding procedures
- Supervising day-to-day welding work on-site
- Ensuring all activities meet project specifications and international standards
- Working closely with engineers, QA/QC teams, and subcontractors
- Carrying out inspections and supporting NDT activities (RT, UT, PT, MT)
- Monitoring welder performance and qualifications
- Identifying any defects and making sure corrective actions are taken
- Keeping all quality documents, reports, and inspection records up to date
- Supporting audits, client inspections, and project handovers
- Following all health and safety (HSE) requirements on-site
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Welding Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience as a Welding Engineer
- Strong knowledge of SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and SAW processes
- Familiarity with ASME, AWS, and API standards
- Experience in oil & gas or EPC projects
- Good understanding of NDT methods (RT, UT, PT, MT)
- Experience in welding inspection and quality control
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Added Advantage:
- Certifications like CSWIP or AWS
- Experience working on large EPC or Aramco projects
