Job Description
We’re urgently looking for a qualified Safety Officer (SABIC Approved) to join a project in Saudi Arabia. If you have experience working on-site and take safety seriously, this is a great opportunity to step into a role where your work directly impacts people and operations every day.
In this position, you’ll be responsible for making sure everything on-site runs safely and in line with SABIC standards. You’ll work closely with teams on-site, guide workers on safety practices, and help create a work environment where risks are minimized and everyone goes home safe.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Keeping a close watch on site activities to ensure all safety procedures are followed
- Carrying out regular site inspections and risk assessments
- Making sure everything meets SABIC and client safety requirements
- Identifying potential hazards and taking quick action to prevent issues
- Conducting toolbox talks, safety briefings, and inductions
- Maintaining proper safety records, reports, and documentation
- Looking into incidents or near misses and helping improve safety measures
- Working with engineers and supervisors to maintain safe work practices
- Ensuring proper use of PPE and safety equipment at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid SABIC Safety Approval (mandatory)
- Experience as a Safety Officer or in HSE roles, preferably in Saudi Arabia
- Good understanding of site safety procedures and risk management
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Someone who is alert, responsible, and proactive about safety
- Ready to join immediately
