Job Description
We’re currently looking for an experienced Safety Officer to join our team and take the lead in maintaining a safe and well-managed work environment across our construction and industrial projects in Saudi Arabia.
This role is ideal for someone who takes safety seriously, stays alert on-site, and knows how to turn safety policies into real, everyday practice. You’ll be working closely with site teams, supervisors, and management to make sure every task is carried out safely and in line with regulations.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your day-to-day work will revolve around keeping the site safe, organized, and compliant. This includes:
- Keeping a close eye on daily site activities to ensure all safety procedures are followed
- Carrying out regular site inspections, identifying risks before they become problems
- Conducting risk assessments (JSA/JHA) and putting preventive measures in place
- Investigating any incidents or near misses and preparing clear, accurate reports
- Leading toolbox talks, safety briefings, and induction sessions for workers
- Making sure all team members are using the right PPE at all times
- Encouraging a strong safety mindset across the workforce
- Organizing emergency response plans, drills, and first aid readiness
- Maintaining proper safety records and documentation
- Ensuring all work aligns with Saudi safety regulations and project requirements
- Monitoring subcontractors to ensure they follow the same safety standards
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is confident, responsible, and experienced in handling site safety:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- At least 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in construction or industrial projects
- NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or similar safety certification is an advantage
- Solid understanding of workplace safety, hazard control, and risk management
- Good communication skills and the ability to guide and support site teams
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
- Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced work environment
- Candidates who can join immediately or are already in Saudi Arabia will have an advantage
