The challenge
Souq Lane’s physical stores were thriving, but the online shop accounted for less than ten percent of revenue. Mobile shoppers abandoned carts at a high rate, Arabic product content was incomplete, and there was no buy-now-pay-later option — a dealbreaker for many customers.
Our solution
We migrated the store to Shopify with a custom bilingual theme, rebuilt navigation around how customers actually shop (by room and occasion), and redesigned product pages with richer imagery, delivery promises and reviews.
Checkout was simplified to a single page with Apple Pay, Tabby and Tamara, and delivery was integrated with two regional couriers for same-day and next-day options. Our content studio produced a bilingual product copy system, lifestyle shoots and a monthly calendar of social content tied to seasonal collections.
After launch, a structured testing programme ran two to three experiments a month across merchandising, product pages and checkout.
The outcome
Online revenue more than doubled within twelve months, and the brand opened its first marketplace storefronts using the same content system.
