We are urgently hiring a highly experienced Instrumentation Supervisor for a reputed EPC contractor involved in major Oil & Gas and industrial construction projects in Qatar. About the Role:
In this position, you’ll take charge of all instrumentation activities on-site—from installation and calibration to testing and commissioning. You’ll be working closely with engineers, technicians, and other departments to make sure everything runs smoothly, safely, and on schedule.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Overseeing daily instrumentation works, including installation, loop checking, and commissioning
- Handling systems like PLC, DCS, and SCADA with confidence
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings such as P&IDs and loop diagrams
- Coordinating with engineering, QA/QC, and commissioning teams
- Troubleshooting issues and ensuring systems perform reliably
- Keeping track of site progress and reporting updates
- Making sure all safety procedures and PTW requirements are followed
- Guiding and supervising technicians and subcontractors on-site
What We’re Looking For:
- Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Around 5–8 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, refinery, or industrial projects
- Good understanding of field instruments like transmitters, control valves, and analysers
- Familiarity with calibration, testing tools, and commissioning practices
- Knowledge of safety standards and hazardous area requirements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Previous GCC or Qatar project experience
- Experience working on EPC or shutdown projects
- Availability to join immediately or within a short notice period
