Full-Time Experienced Mechanical Engineer Needed | Medical Gas Projects Saudi Arabia
Job Description
We’re currently hiring an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in medical gas systems (MGPS) for a major healthcare project in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. If you’ve worked on hospital projects and understand how critical these systems are, this could be a great next step in your career.
About the Role
This role is focused on handling medical gas systems used in hospitals—everything from design and planning to installation and final handover. You’ll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, making sure systems are installed correctly, safely, and in line with required standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing medical gas systems such as oxygen, vacuum, and compressed air networks
- Preparing drawings, technical documents, and material details
- Supervising installation work on-site and guiding technicians
- Managing testing, commissioning, and system validation
- Ensuring all work follows international standards like HTM, NFPA, and ISO
- Coordinating with engineers, contractors, and healthcare teams
- Keeping track of project progress and maintaining quality standards
- Troubleshooting issues and providing practical solutions on-site
- Supporting final project documentation and handover
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Around 10+ years of hands-on experience, preferably in hospital or healthcare projects
- Strong understanding of medical gas systems and piping work
- Familiarity with standards such as HTM 02-01, NFPA 99, and ISO 7396
- Good experience with AutoCAD or similar design tools
- Ability to manage site work and lead a team effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
