Job Description
We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Landscape Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing outdoor development projects and has a strong understanding of landscaping, horticulture, irrigation systems, and landscape construction.
As a Landscape Manager, you will play an important role in bringing landscape projects to life. From the initial planning stages to the final completion, you will oversee the entire process and ensure that every element — from planting to irrigation and hardscape features — is delivered with quality and precision.
This role requires someone who is organized, confident in leading teams, and capable of coordinating with clients, consultants, suppliers, and on-site teams to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.
About the Role
The Landscape Manager will be responsible for managing landscape projects from start to finish. This includes supervising site teams, coordinating project schedules, ensuring the correct materials are used, and maintaining high-quality landscaping standards.
You will work closely with clients, landscape architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that projects are delivered according to design plans and within the agreed timelines.
The position requires strong knowledge of planting, irrigation systems, turf installation, hardscape features, and overall landscape development. Attention to detail and good communication skills are essential to ensure each project is completed successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise landscape projects from planning through to completion
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee site operations, landscaping teams, and subcontractors
- Ensure landscaping work meets design specifications and quality standards
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
- Monitor installation of irrigation systems, planting, turfing, and hardscape elements
- Manage procurement of plants, landscaping materials, and irrigation equipment
- Conduct regular site inspections to track progress and maintain quality
- Ensure all health and safety standards are followed on site
- Address site challenges and provide practical solutions to keep projects on track
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in landscape project management or landscaping operations
- Strong understanding of irrigation systems, planting techniques, and hardscape works
- Experience managing site teams and subcontractors
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple landscaping projects at the same time
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Valid driving license
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on landscape construction or outdoor development projects
- Knowledge of plant selection, soil preparation, and horticultural practices
- Familiarity with drip irrigation and sprinkler systems
- Ability to read and understand landscape drawings and site plans
- Experience managing landscape project budgets and timelines
