Full-Time Quantity Surveyor Vacancy – Construction Cost Control Role
Job Description
We’re currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with site teams, managing project costs, and playing an important role in delivering successful construction projects.

About the Role
In this role, you’ll be involved in every commercial stage of the project. From preparing cost estimates at the beginning to closing final accounts at the end, your work will help keep projects financially on track.
You’ll collaborate daily with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors—making sure quantities are accurate, costs are controlled, and everything runs smoothly. This is a hands-on position where your attention to detail and practical experience really matter.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Preparing Bills of Quantities, measurements, and cost estimates
• Helping build project budgets and tracking expenses throughout construction
• Preparing progress payments, interim valuations, and final accounts
• Reviewing variations, claims, and change orders
• Supporting contract administration and commercial documentation
• Comparing subcontractor quotations and assisting with procurement decisions
• Working closely with site engineers to confirm quantities and progress
• Monitoring material usage and site costs
• Assisting with tenders and bid preparation
• Creating monthly cost reports and summaries for management
• Identifying potential cost risks and suggesting practical savings where possible
What We’re Looking For
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on construction projects
• A solid understanding of BOQs, cost control, budgeting, and contracts
• Experience working with contractors, consultants, and site teams
• Confidence reading drawings and project specifications
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• A proactive mindset with good communication abilities
