Full-Time Immediate Vacancy for Maintenance Planning Engineer in Saudi Arabia
Job Description
We’re currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Planning Engineer to join a well-established plant operation in Saudi Arabia. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organizing maintenance work, improving equipment performance, and keeping plant operations running smoothly without unexpected downtime.
If you’ve worked in industrial or plant environments and understand how important proper planning is to daily operations, this role will suit you well.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning and scheduling routine maintenance as well as major shutdown activities
- Preparing clear job plans, including required manpower, tools, and materials
- Using SAP to manage maintenance schedules, track work orders, and generate reports
- Working closely with operations, maintenance teams, and procurement to keep everything aligned
- Making sure maintenance work is carried out safely and meets plant standards
- Monitoring equipment performance and identifying areas for improvement
- Supporting smooth plant operations by reducing downtime and delays
- Keeping maintenance records organized and up to date
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related diploma
- Around 5 years of experience in maintenance planning or shutdown coordination
- Hands-on experience with SAP (Plant Maintenance module)
- Background in plant environments such as oil & gas, power, or manufacturing is preferred
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Familiarity with tools like Power BI or Tableau is a bonus
- Comfortable communicating in English; Arabic is an advantage
