Job Description
We’re looking for a hands-on and dependable Production Foreman to take charge of daily operations in our steel fabrication (cut & bend) facility. If you have solid experience in rebar processing and shop floor supervision, and you know how to keep production running smoothly while maintaining quality and safety, this could be the right opportunity for you.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the operation—guiding teams, managing workflow, and ensuring every job is completed accurately and on time. We’re looking for someone who can lead from the front, solve problems quickly, and keep productivity on track without compromising standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or a related field is preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience in steel fabrication, construction, or manufacturing environments
- Ideally 3–5 years of experience in a similar role such as Production Foreman, Rebar Supervisor, or Shop Floor Supervisor
- Strong understanding of:
- Rebar grades, sizes, and bending shapes
- Cutting and bending machines (manual or CNC)
- Steel reinforcement and fabrication processes
- Ability to read and understand drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and technical specifications
- Good leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Clear communication skills to guide workers effectively
- Knowledge of multiple languages (Arabic, English, Hindi) is a plus
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing day-to-day activities on the shop floor to ensure smooth and efficient production
- Planning and assigning tasks, manpower, and machines to meet production targets
- Making sure all rebar cutting and bending is done accurately as per approved drawings
- Keeping a close eye on quality, reducing waste, and improving overall efficiency
- Checking finished products before dispatch and maintaining proper records
- Coordinating with engineers and other departments to keep operations aligned
- Ensuring all safety procedures are followed and workers use proper PPE
- Identifying issues early, resolving problems, and improving processes where needed
- Training and supporting workers to improve performance and maintain standards
Extra Skills That Will Help You Stand Out
- Experience working with ERP or production tracking systems
- Familiarity with international steel standards (ASTM, BS, etc.)
- Ability to handle pressure and manage deadlines in a busy production environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
